Following on from their 2019 success, Helliwell & Co have been awarded the top prize for the London W5 area in the 2020 British Property Awards.
The British Property Awards were established to help consumers identify the truly outstanding estate agents to work with in what can seem a very crowded and confusing marketplace. It is the agents that go above and beyond to deliver great service that are rewarded not only by the recognition that the Award brings but in the long-term loyalty of their clients.
The organisers of the Awards send teams of mystery shoppers to independently assess each agent against a set of 25 criteria, with a focus on the way in which customer service is delivered.
The results of the initial assessment are considered alongside other relevant measurements, such as the percentage of listed properties that have sold or are under offer, how quickly properties are sold and the proportion of sales that fell through during a sales process.
In addition to the mystery shopping and the analysis of this data, the online presence of each agent is considered, for example, how a property is presented, the quality of photographs and the effectiveness of the website.
Estate agents are judged on a town-by-town basis, ensuring that only those agents who meet a certain standard are nominated for an award. If the standard in an individual area or town is not reached, no award is given.
